Robert Parker: Most of the wines reviewed in this report were tasted on as many as four different occasions, but, sadly, I only had one opportunity to taste the 1996 Le Tertre-Roteboeuf. It was indeed impressive, exhibiting this estate's well-known kirsch, chocolate, smoky, black-cherry personality. The 1996 is thrillingly silky and hedonistic, with layers of fruit and glycerin, as well as enough structure and acidity to bring everything into focus
